Creative Spaces
Rainmaker Studios

While Kristin O’Connor may look more like a hip older sister than a company president, one glance at her swanky studio and there is no doubt that this woman is all business. Operating a full-scale recording studio as well as an accompanying editing firm (Greybox) and music production firm (ShockoeNoise), O’Connor is a one-stop shop for all of your auditory needs. What makes the Rainmaker work space so cool isn’t the hip leather couches or the pricey sound equipment (although admittedly, those things are pretty neat); it’s the fact that Rainmaker is part of a creative movement larger than itself — literally.

As a member of the Superior Production Exchange, a 36,000-foot warehouse-cum-creative hub, Rainmaker sits side-by-side with 19 other independent businesses spanning a wide range of arts and advertising-related fields — businesses that O’Connor and her team of idea-generators often times collaborate with on projects. “Everyone here has very different specialized talents,” O’Connor says. “Being here lets us collaborate so we can better provide for our clients.”
