When you attend a Venture Richmond event, you are supporting the cultivation of arts and entertainment in our downtown community. Not only are event proceeds benefiting Venture Richmond, but they also are going directly to many nonprofit organizations in the metropolitan Richmond area. Without the assistance of these nonprofit volunteer groups, many of our events simply could not take place. In 2006, Venture Richmond donated more than $30,000 to local nonprofit organizations; the beneficiaries included in that total are:
