Dominion Riverrock

Brown's Island
"Richmond's Riverlife Celebration" will blend
music, sports, interactive opportunities, environmental stewardship and
fun, set against the backdrop of Richmond's downtown riverfront.
Dominion Riverrock begins Friday with a free performance by nationally
acclaimed roots music and world rock band Rusted Root. Also on Friday
evening are a Mud Run, high-flying Big Air dog jumping competition,
acrobatic freestyle bike competition and the Dominion Riverrock After
Party downtown. Events continue Saturday when athletes from around the
region square off in high-adrenaline activities both in and around the
river including the James River Scramble trail run, mountain biking,
kayaking and more. With additional musical performances, dog and bike
competitions, the James River Pub Crawl, food and exhibits, Dominion
Riverrock is sure to make a splash as Richmond's premier river event.
While the event is free and open to the public, pre-registration is required for participants for the competitive events at www.sportsbackers.org.
