Wildlife of the domesticated kind will be taking over the market alongside weekly vendors, local rescue organizations and animal resource groups. There will be plenty of unique treats, toys, goodies and events for both you and your pets! 2nd Annual Adventure Sports and River Life Fest
Full Event & Music Schedule – Are you Ready?!
Featured Sports: trail running, mountain biking, kayaking, freestyle biking and Ultimate Air Dogs - With pro freeride mountain biker Jeff Lenosky, who designed this year's freestyle bike course; as well as extreme kayaker Tao Berman and pro mountain biker Aaron Chase, both Red Bull athletes.
Free Concerts: national artists like Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, who were listed as one of Rolling Stone's best new acts of 2010, and Robert Randolph & the Family Band, a funk and soul group fronted by well-known pedal steel guitarist Robert Randolph. Also plenty of Richmond-based groups this year, such as The Congress, Beast Wellington, Antero and Farm Vegas.
Interactive village: activities for all ages including raft rides on the James River, kayaking in the canal, a green zone with your favorite RVA river non-profits and more.
