Anthem Stride Through Time: A Fresh Take On History
American Civil War Center at Historic Tredegar (start & finish)
Registration fee for participants, 8am-1pm
An interactive celebration of local history mixes with fitness. Anthem Stride Through Time will pass by many historic sites. Walkers will encounter music, living history and street exhibitions. The walk is an example of how to adapt our past to our present by celebrating Richmond's historic communities, structures and events through something popular like exercise walking. The untimed fitness walk will take place on the Canal Walk and city sidewalks.
