2nd Annual Burning Up the Bottom Firefighter Festival

This second annual festival is a celebration of the spirit, passion and dedication of the men and women who provide the valuable services of fire protection and emergency medical care to citizens throughout the Richmond region. It invites public safety workers and their families along with the general public to Shockoe Bottom for a fun filled day of excitement and entertainment for the whole family. Enjoy the Beat the Heat 5K at 8:30am, the Fire Apparatus Parade at 12pm, firefighter demonstrations at 1pm, Firefighter Olympic Games at 2:30pm, and live music starting at 10am. The Lil' Sparks children's fun area will be open from 10am-3pm. Shockoe Bottom restaurants will be selling food on the market all day!

Williams Mullen's Richmond Office Relocates to Williams Mullen Center

Monday, June 14 Williams Mullen will move 275 people and 150 file cabinets with approximately 1000 boxes, 1000 carts and 8000 crates to 200 South 10th Street.

"We are very excited to be moving to the Williams Mullen Center," said Julious P. Smith, Jr., Chairman of the firm. "Williams Mullen has been a part of Richmond since 1909. Our new office represents our continued and strengthened commitment to the Greater Richmond region and its business community."

Virginia Beach-based developer Armada-Hoffler built the 210,000 square foot, 16-story building located adjacent to the RMA parking garage on 10th Street downtown. Williams Mullen is leasing approximately 140,000 square feet and is the anchor tenant. The building includes 5,100 square feet of retail space on the ground floor.

Thomas R. Frantz, President and CEO of the firm added: "This new office and its technology provide our attorneys and staff with the resources needed to serve our clients. Our strong and continued strong presence in the capital of Virginia allows us to more effectively represent our clients throughout the Commonwealth."
