One Voice Chorus, Richmond's only inter-racial community chorus, celebrates American music and art with a performance of In Living Black and White, a concert of choral music accompanied by projected art images.

Hosted by WWBT-TV12's Sabrina Squire, In Living Black and White will present traditional spirituals in arrangements by both African- and European-American composers as well as classical choral works by Nathan Carter, Randall Thompson and others. Art images will feature the work of American artists representing both African and European traditions.

One Voice Chorus was founded to bring people together across historic cultural barriers in shared experiences of great music. Since its first performance in 2002, chorus membership has grown to more than 125 singers representing the rich diversity of metropolitan Richmond. Concerts and community performances throughout the year feature a variety of musical styles including classical, jazz and traditional African American spirituals.

A donation of $10.00 is requested for adults; children 12 and under are free. For more information visit www.onevoicechorus.org or call 866-455-6069.
