9th Annual Animalia Pet Fete
Saturday, June 7
9:00am-4:00pm
17th Street Farmers' Market, Shockoe Bottom

A celebration in honor of pets and their human companions. Bring your pet (leashed or in carriers and with current shots, please!) and join in the fun of this Pet Fete! Wildlife of the domesticated kind will be taking over the Farmers' Market, alongside weekly vendors, local rescue organizations, and animal resource groups.

Activities include the "Greyest Muzzle" contest for canines (11am) and for those unusual or super special pets we will host the "Niftiest Pet" contest (11:30am). Reverend David Keill will also lead a Blessing of the Animals on the Market (12pm). Enjoy a petting zoo and a themed Children's Animal Art Activity.
