InLight Richmond 2009

Come experience Richmond's most unique outdoor art celebration in downtown Richmond.
The InLight Richmond exhibition includes light-inspired contemporary multi-media art installations by 26 international artists displayed in storefronts, projected on buildings, installed in alleys, and on the street. A Community Lantern Parade will start at 7:45pm in front of the Marriott Hotel (corner of E. Broad and 5th Street). For ideas on how to make your own lantern, go to www.1708gallery.org.
Richmond's most popular fashion show, Wearable Art, includes ten unique designs integrating the theme of light and regeneration. The outdoor fashion show begins at 9:00pm.
Performing arts will include local favorites including Richmond Shakespeare, Silly Bus, I-llusions, Wearable Art, and Blue Line Highway. Watch out for Royal Pain and SIX performing on E. Grace Street.
