Broad Appetite, the region's newest food event, gears up for the 3rd annual "smorgasbord in the street", scheduled for Sunday, June 5th, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival will feature over 50 of Richmond's most popular LOCAL dining establishments - and has already set a new standard for celebrating local food and cuisine! Come to Stone Soul Festival on Brown's Island!
This Saturday the 4th of June, the Stone Soul Music and Food Festival returns to Browns Island. The Stone Soul festival is a celebration of the best things in life, inspirational music and delicious food. The artists this year have packed their suitcases and tour busses full of fun and excitement and are bringing it to their performances on the Brown's Island stage. Tickets are sold in advance and at the gate. $1.00 "Stone Soul Food Samples" are available at all 12 food vendors in addition to full meals. There will also be a "Children's Play Area." ALL children must be accompanied by an adult who must stay with them in order to enter. There will be a release for you to sign before entering the play area.
