Tomorrow: Drive By Truckers at Friday Cheers.
It will be a very special evening with Drive By Truckers, they will be taking the stage at 7pm and playing until 9:30 with a brief intermission. That's a whole lot of amazing music for $10. Chrysler will be in attendance showcasing their new vehicles, and as usual the food will be delicious and the beer will be ice cold. It's the perfect way to kickoff an amazing weekend.

Xterra on Brown's Island Saturday and Sunday.
Richmond is no stranger to hosting the Xterra East Championship. This weekend marks the 13th anniversary of Xterra East Championships here in RVA. Brown's island and the James River Park System are truly the ultimate urban adventure course. The professional competitors will brave a 1k swim, A 32k mountain bike ride, and a 10k trail run all for a chance at some serious prize money. For most of us non-professional athletes there are several amateur races as well.
Events include the XTERRA Fugitive 10k trail run, the XTERRA Richmond half-marathon trail run, free kids races, free clinics taught by pro athletes, the Paul Mitchell Cut-a-thon to raise money for the Challenged Athletes Foundation, and two off-road triathlons - a half-distance XTERRA Sport race (perfect for newcomers) and the XTERRA East Championship. In addition to these events there are many, many, things to see and do.
