Holiday Happenings at the American Civil War Center December 16th
Spread holiday cheer in a whole new way this year by visiting The
American Civil War Center at Historic Tredegar, where history comes
alive! On Sunday, December 16th
from 1-5pm, the second annual "Holiday Happenings" will take place at
the Center. Discounted admissions are: $4 for adults and $2 for
children 17 and under.
From 1-5pm, visitors will enjoy free refreshments, ornament making, and
tree decorating. Guests will be able to witness "living history" with a
visit from the Civil War Santa while enjoying the sounds of period
music from the Southern Horizon performers. Mom and Dad, while the kids
are busy making crafts, can shop for everyone on their list with 10%
off in the gift shop, with great gifts ranging from reproduced civil
war toys to hand painted collectibles. The American Civil War Center
features holiday traditions represented by three perspectives – Union,
Confederate, and African American.
