You're invited to apply to participate in the 3rd Annual Greater Richmond Challenge!

May 8-9, 2008


Greater Richmond Challenge III: A Civic Adventure will bring together a diverse group of local leaders and community members. They will experience a two-day hands-on exploration of the successes and challenges of all four jurisdictions in our region in the areas of quality of life and economic development.

Explore Richmond, Chesterfield, Hanover and Henrico with 150 other civic minded individuals in an action-packed, challenging and invigorating adventure!

You'll have 36 hours and 9 teammates to share your passion for exploring, understanding and interpreting the issues at hand - issues like crime, public safety, education, land use, and affordable workforce housing.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Be 21 years or older; Be available for the entire program (this includes an OVERNIGHT stay); Participation is limited.

GOALS:
Increase your knowledge about our great region; Learn more about solutions to key issues facing our region; Make new contacts and strengthen existing ones; Increase your civic engagement to make our community better.

FEE:
$399 (Includes overnight accommodations, transportation and meals). A limited number of partial scholarships are available.
