Capital Ale House Downtown Richmond named in Beer Advocate’s Top 50 Places to Have a Beer in America!

Since it’s inception in November of 2002 the Capital Ale House has strived to be the restaurant to visit for good conversation, good food and good beer. Treating and serving fine ales and lagers with the same respect normally given to wine we have been very successful in expanding our guest’s appreciation for the art of brewing. We serve over 300 different brands and styles of beer in an atmosphere that promotes good conversation and the culture surrounding the history of beer.

In 2004 All About Beer Magazine proclaimed the Capital Ale House “One of the Worlds Most Brilliant Beer Bars”. Now Beer Advocate has proclaimed our Downtown location #10 and our Innsbrook location #14 on the list of Top 50 Places to Have a Beer in America.

We are very proud of this accolade and will continue to bring the pleasures of drinking fine ale among friends to Richmond.
